Alone again...

After unbelievable six(!) days without a word now the latest update:
After my dear friend Ryoko had spent five days with me in Britain, on the fifth my bro came from Austria to visit me. So on that day I took a train to London to pick him up from the Stansted Airport Express and we were really happy to finally meet again - long extensive talks without the restraints of an oversea - phoneline. We went to the inn where we'd stay for the night and checked in - quite a rathole but dead cheap for being in the centre of London and then we went for a long walk staying up until late. At night then our sleep was disturbed by a bunch of drunkards that rushed into the 10 beds room at 3a.m. making a lot of racket and spilling coke all over the floor... What a pain in the arse those lads were! ^^
The next day was dedicated to sightseeing in London, first we walked the rather small area of Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and River Thames, then we took the tube and proceeded to Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace. We would have liked to discover more on ourselves but we knew how impossible it was in only one day, so we took the next sightseeing tourbus that took us to Mayfair, the Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, St.Paul's Cathedral,... I also learned a lot of interesting things from the guide, for example that bobbies were called 'the old Bill' by Londoners...
Well, that evening we took the train to Liverpool, where my bro stayed until today. Also here we did a lot of sightseeing, cathedrals, museums, Beatles Story, I also showed him the university... and we had loads of fun!!
Too bad it had to end today... okay, studying will keep me busy again from now on anyway...
