Bilabial pleasures...
Today we got Phonetics and Phonology's second coursework assignment - the phonetical transcription of a passage of Harry Potter and an analasys of its suprasegmential features (stress, intonation). I managed to do the transcription today but the analysis' gonna be more difficult, especially because Jarmila isn't all too good at explaining things. Still I'm sure I'm gonna be fine again.Nutcase was being crazy again today, punching walls and threatening people. It's getting so annoying now, really...

yea, Bilabial can mean something else too, so be careful how you use it!

As an innuendo? :)

I'd say more literal, not innuendo :P

For literal use, I only know it as a term of phonetics... but please tell me about the other use

As I'd expected almost exclusively phonetic diagrams - but I know the other meaning now anyway...^^

Bilabial only has the linguistic meaning. You are probally thinking of labial which has a third meaning: An organ pipe sounded by means of a current of air striking a lip in the side of the pipe and causing the air within to vibrate. The term bilabial has nothing whatsoever to do with the pudenda (get a dictionary;))
